Didari Asif is an Afghan exploration geologist with over eight years of field and analytical experience in mineral exploration, geological mapping, and data interpretation. He has worked extensively in Afghanistan and has engaged in international academic research, contributing to projects in geology, GIS, and mineral resource evaluation.

Currently, Didari is pursuing a Master of Science in Economic Geology at Akita University, Japan, supported by a JICA scholarship. His research focuses on the mineral texture and geochemical signature of massive sulfide deposits in the Matsumine district of Akita. Prior to this, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mineral Exploration from Kabul Polytechnic University, where his thesis examined the pegmatites of Nuristan province.

In his professional career with the Afghanistan Geological Survey, Didari held roles as both Survey Geologist and Field Geologist, contributing to large-scale geological mapping, core logging, geophysical data interpretation, and mineral targeting. He has collected field samples for geochemical analysis, prepared geological cross-sections and maps, and authored detailed technical reports. He also gained experience in managing field equipment, ensuring safety protocols, and integrating data from both surface and subsurface studies.

Didari has additionally worked in print media and publishing, holding roles in printing operations, design, and photography. This diverse background highlights his adaptability, technical disposition, and team-based work ethic.

Fluent in Persian (Dari) and proficient in English, Didari brings a combination of scientific rigor, field-tested skills, and cross-disciplinary experience to any exploration or research team. His objective is to fuse practical field geology with modern data-driven methods for responsible mineral exploration and geoscience innovation.
