His academic journey has been enriched through international training and workshops, including geological field mapping in Austria and Germany (University of Bonn, DAAD programs), groundwater quality monitoring in Kabul, advanced computer networking in India, and mining exploration training in Turkey.

He is a prolific researcher and writer, with over 20 scientific papers and books published in Afghanistan and internationally. His works cover a wide range of geological topics, including:

- Engineering geology of Kabul basin

- Quartz veins and quartz sand resources

- Isomorphic elements of Aynak copper mine and Logar chromite deposits

- Rare metals in Afghanistan’s pegmatite belt

- Mineralogy and geochemistry of Afghan marbles, granites, and nephrite (Kunar province)

- Paleontological studies of Bamyan’s Band-e-Amir region

In addition to his academic publications, he has actively participated in regional and international geological conferences, presenting research on landslides, fossil studies, and mineralogical comparisons.

Professor Amini is fluent in Farsi (Persian), Pashto, English, and Russian, and has advanced skills in GIS, remote sensing, AutoCAD, IT systems, and computer networking.
